Hope.

You can handle more than you think. You were built to save yourself, and you deserve more than you can even begin to imagine. We all have flaws. We are all trying to figure out what self-love means to us, and that’s okay. Just remember, you don’t deserve what you’re going through. You didn’t bring it on yourself. You didn’t do anything wrong.

Everyone has days in their lives when all they want to do is leave everything and run away, when they're looking for that one shoulder to cry on, that one hug to break into, that one shred of hope to hold onto. Everyone has a person in their lives whom they loved wildly, with all of their hearts, who left them shattered, who left them broken. And it’s okay to cry about it. It’s okay to isolate yourself for a while.

But whatever you do, please don’t tell yourself you’re unworthy of love. I know it is hard, but you need to hold on to that last tiny little shred of hope as tightly as possible.

Sometimes in life, things happen over which you have no control. You give up on yourself, you give up all hope for the future, and you just torture yourself with never ending self-loathing and disgust. You keep telling yourself that you don’t matter, and that you deserve being alone.

But that’s not true. You matter. Your feelings matter. Your pain matters. Your suffering matters.

You need to realise that you are just human, that you’re going to bleed when you fall, but you’re also going to heal. You need to accept all your flaws and forgive yourself for them. You need to stop blaming yourself for someone else’s actions.

Don’t let your heart break turn into self-hatred. Don’t let someone else’s decision to leave you lead to self-doubt. Don’t let someone else’s stupidity make you give up on life. You need to hold on to the hope that things will get better, that you will find someone who inspires you, and appreciates every stunning thing about you.

You just have to hold on to hope & keep moving. After all, you get to choose where you’re going. You can keep circling back around the same empty spaces, or you can slowly move forward.
